George Franklin Goodman, 83, of Osceola, Missouri passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29th in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Tom Goodman to help defray funeral expenses.
George was born on March 12, 1936 in Wichita, KS, son of Walter and Millie (Faunce) Goodman. He worked for Owings-Corning Fiberglass for over 30 years. He liked to fish, watch football and baseball, and enjoyed gardening and watching birds. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Audrey; brothers, Jim and Johnny; and sisters, Arvella and Virginia.
His survivors include his son, Tom Goodman of Osceola; daughter, Peggy Rose (Chris) of Osceola; grandchildren, Tiffany Byrd, Christina Davis, Jayme Dreyer and Shana Goodman; great-grandchildren, Quintin Byrd, James Davis, Nyla Wilson and Lilith Wilson; and 3 sisters, Minnie Helms, Ramona Wright and Rosie Moore.
