Geralyn “Geri” Kay Schlobohm, 55 of Independence, MO passed away February 28, 2022. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Friday, March 4, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Geri was born April 28, 1966 in Kansas City, MO to Gerald & Shirley (Jones) Schlobohm. She enjoyed cross-stitching, jigsaw puzzles, going to the Casinos, reading and crocheting. Geri loved photography and sunsets. She went to JoAnn Fabrics and took different classes. Geri also would take Wine and Paint classes. She loved to travel and took several cruises. Geri loved any place that had a beach.
Geri was preceded in death by 2 sisters and their husbands: Roberta Toliver & husband Martin; Janette Pycior & husband Ronald; nephew: Andrew Pycior.
Geri is survived by her parents: Gerald & Shirley Schlobohm; sister: Kimberlee Weisner & husband Richard; nieces: Amy Hamilton & husband Jeremiah, Sara Whitaker & husband Warren; nephews: Nicholas Pycior, Benjamin Pycior, Eric Toliver, Jacob Weisner, Christopher Lalumondier & wife Shauna; great-nieces: Quinn, Skylar; great-nephews: Martin, Zeppelin.
