Glenn Eugene Huber, 90, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial at 12:00 p.m. in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15th at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Blue Springs Assembly of God.
Glenn was born October 21, 1923, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Henry and Helen (Webber) Huber. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Glenn married Alice England in November 1946. He was an Executive with General Motors, retiring after 35 years of service. He enjoyed photography and sharing his life experiences.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Phyllis & Maxine; and one brother, Theodore.
His survivors include his wife of 67 years, Alice Huber of the home; son, Greg & Jill Huber of Blue Springs; three grandsons, Geoffrey Huber, Alec Huber, & Hunter Post, all of Blue Springs; two granddaughters, Kara Payton of Overland Park, KS, & Meridith Sappenfield of Lexington, MO; sister, Dorothy Richardson of Lake City, FL; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
