Gregory Mark Eilers, 67 of Blue Springs, MO passed away August 24, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Services to be held at a later date.
Greg was born son of Norma and Melvin Eilers on May 20, 1949 in Boise, Idaho. He spent all but three years of his life in the Boise Valley where he was a dedicated, hardworking employee in several industries. He was a devoted family man, and amazing cook and gardener. Greg had a strong faith and chose nature as his sanctuary. Greg loved to fish and hunt. He loved critters great and small, especially his dogs.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Justin Eilers.
Greg is survived by his wife of 25 years, Margaret; son, Traun Eilers; daughter, Laci Karlsberger; stepdaughter, Laurel Paulman; grandchildren: Landon Eilers, Logan Eilers, Colton Eilers, Jaidyn Eilers, Tyson Eilers, Alaina Karlsberger, Andrew James Karlsberger, Andrew James Paulman and Chelsea Gaarder; siblings: Dan Eilers, Ann Montgomery, Carolyn Vincent, Jill Zevala, Nancy Marler, Matt Butler, and Bert Butler; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Greg’s family will be eternally grateful for the expert and compassionate care provided by Kansas City Hospice.

3 Sep 2020Loved my brother so much! He was a rare individual. Very caring and tender hearted. He was strong and gentle at the same time. What a sense of humor! He left a huge impact on my life.
