Hazel Munze, 85, Grain Valley, MO, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 31 at 1:30 p.m. in the Arrow Rock Cemetery.
Hazel was born January 22, 1934, in Arrow Rock, MO, to Roy and Ethel (Wells) Case. She and her family relocated to Kansas City in 1941 but she loved spending the summer in Arrow Rock with her cousins. Hazel graduated from Westport High School in 1953. She was active in stage production for high school plays, talent shows and a literary society. She was a member of the Gamma Iota Delta Sorority. Hazel married Don Munze on April 24, 1955. She worked as a credit manager for Case Supply, retiring in 2001. She loved her family, family dinners, traveling, and watching Chiefs football.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ethel (Wells) Case; her brothers, Harry W. Case and Warner L. Case; and her husband of 56 years, Don J. Munze, Jr.
Hazel will be missed by daughters, Terrie (Tim) Blom and Donna (Alan) Donovan; and son, Donny (Kris) Munze; five grandchildren, Bradley, Tami, Brandon, Corey and Kayla; three great-granddaughters, Gracie, Hayden and Layla; and one great-grandson, Brandon Jr.
