Helen Elaine Burres, 76, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Villages of Jackson Creek, Independence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Helen was born August 30, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest L. and Ethel P. (Love) Westerberg.
Her survivors include two sisters: Linda Barrow and Barbara Hallier, both of Oak Grove, MO; brother, Ernie Westerberg of Fort Worth, TX; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. Helen was preceded in death by her parents.
