Helen Louise Boutross, 94, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 24th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23rd at the funeral home.
Helen was born October 22, 1923, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Lewis and Helen (Mayta) Smedley. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting, taking walks, flowers of any kind, and cooking, especially Lebanese food. Most of all, she loved taking care of her disabled son, Bobby.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Boutross in 2000; son, Bobby Boutross in 2017; brother, Bud Smedley; and sister, Anna Mae Sparrow.
Her survivors include her daughter, Patricia; 5 sons: Michael, Paul, Edward, Daniel, and Patrick Boutross; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.
