Helen Marlene Lueck, 78, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Independence, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22nd at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Bates City Cemetery, Bates City, MO. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
Helen was born April 7, 1935 in Yarrow, Missouri, the daughter of William and Mabel (Wood) Carter. She is the last of 9 brothers and sisters. Helen loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lueck in 2005; parents, William & Mabel Carter; and brothers & sisters.
Helen is survived by three sons: Steve McCarty, Dennis McCarty, & Matthew Lueck; two daughters: Pat Serrato & Pam Goff; six stepsons: Mike Chrisman, David Lueck, Tim Lueck, Leroy Lueck, Jim Lueck & Bill Lueck; 33 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
