Imogene Atkins 87, of Bates City, MO passed away at her home March 17, 2015.
Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.
Imogene was born March 22, 1927 in Trenton Missouri to Carl & Lucille (Dawson) Ellington.
Imogene attended New Life Assembly of God. She like animals, reading and watching old westerns.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents: Carl Ellington & Lucille Oxley; 1 daughter: Marty Thompson; 2 husbands: Elmer Waller, Sr. and Raymond Atkins; 1 great-grandson: Dominic Vargas.
Imogene is survived by 4 daughters: Ella Andrews & husband Jack of Warsaw, MO, Patricia Verhulst & husband Robert of Lee’s Summit, MO, Linda Bakalov of Las Vegas, NV, Karen Vargas & husband Randall of Independence, MO; 2 sons: Elmer Waller, Jr. and wife Andrea of Maxville, FL, Kevin Waller & wife Mary Lou of Wellington, MO. 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
