Jack C. Bolinger


Jack C. Bolinger, 76, of Grain Valley, MO, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs. Services will be Saturday, March 25th at Faith United Methodist Church in Grain Valley; visitation from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Jack will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Faith UMC Building Fund.

Jack was born on April 26, 1929 in Weir, Kansas, the son of Thomas & Zela (Scott) Bolinger. He married Dolly Ann Larson on February 12, 1949. He has been an engineer at Bendix. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and the Grain Valley Historical Society. Two brothers and two sisters preceded Jack in death.

His survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dolly Bolinger of the home; two daughters: Cathleen Biesemeyer & husband Michael of Kansas City, MO, Gail Fischer & husband Gerald of Oak Grove, MO; two sons: Michael Bolinger & wife Jeanne of Kansas City, MO and Chris Bolinger & wife Carolyn of Pleasant Hill, MO; two sisters: Erma Penner of California and Wilmas Knoles of Lousianna; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
