James Earl Fisher, 57, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at his home. A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to Kansas City Hospice.
Jim was born December 5, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Bobby and Betty (Boyle) Fisher. He was dedicated to his job and enjoyed working as a District Manager for M.C. Sporting Goods (formerly K.C. Sports, & Garts Brothers) for over 40 years. Jim enjoyed playing guitar, golfing, fishing, boating & family vacations.
Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carolyn Fisher of the home; two daughters: Sarah & Joe Hammontree of Blue Springs, Lisa Fisher of Blue Springs; one son: Chris & Kat Fisher of Odessa, MO; three grandchildren: Adam Hammontree, Camellia Fisher, & Dahlia Klinkenberg; his mother: Betty Fisher of Florissant, MO; one brother: Tony Fisher of O’Fallon, MO; and three sisters: Bobbie Hamilton, Donna Douglas, & Patty Jackson, all of Florissant, MO.
