James F. Rinacke


James Franklin Rinacke, 83, of Sibley, Missouri, passed away June 30, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 2nd at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence; burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery, Buckner, Missouri.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Jim was born April 11, 1933, at his family home residence in Sibley, Missouri.  His father was Tom Rinacke and his mother was Lydia M. (Gregg) Rinacke.

His survivors include his wife, Carolyn (Kozak) Rinacke of the home; one sister, Thelma Jean Rakes and her husband, Charles Rakes from Bentonville, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Sibyl L. Spears of Independence, Missouri; one aunt, Lois Davis of Kingman, Arizona; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  Jim was much loved and will be missed by all.
