James Montgomery Fagan, 67, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7th at Koger Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley.

Jim was born on August 23, 1940, in Norwood, Missouri, the son of Ralph M. and Ruth S. (Fletcher) Fagan. He served in the United States Army. Jim married Karen W. Wheeler on August 2, 1968. He was a material handler for General Motors, retiring in 1992 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local #31. Jim was preceded in death by two brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Fagan of the home; son: Matt Fagan of the home; two daughters: Traci Hinsley of Amarillo, TX, and Holly Thompson & her husband, Abe of Bates City, MO; ten brothers: Jack, Jerry, Tom, Richard, Carl, Ronald, Donald, George, Charlie & Arlie; six grandchildren: Brooke O’Hare, Monica Thompson, Lucas Fagan, Keaton, Nicholas and Justin Hinsley; and one great-granddaughter: Karma O’Hare.
