James Thomas “Tom” Scott, 59, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Tom was born April 6, 1957, in Odessa, Missouri, the son of John H. and Gladys (Wakeman) Scott. He was a machine mechanic at Lake City Arsenal. Tom loved Harleys, and especially loved spending time with his family.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his stepson, James (Shynel) Krause of Lee’s Summit, MO; two daughters: Tommi and Lily Scott of the home; brother, Ray Scott of Dallas, TX; three sisters: Patricia Heathman of Blue Springs, MO, Alicia McKay of Holden, MO, and Barbara Drummond of Lone Jack, MO; one granddaughter, Lyncoln; and numerous nieces and nephews.
