James William White III, 63, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018. A Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21st at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley.
James was born June 18, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of James W. Jr. and Carolyn (Bown) White. He was Head Custodian in the Belton School District. James enjoyed being outside, people watching, and working on and fixing cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his father and nephew, Caleb Strable.
His survivors include his wife Donna White of the home; two daughters: Tammy Myers (Jay), and Linda Warner, both of Independence, MO; one son, James White IV (Alexa) of Grain Valley; his mother, Carolyn McElwee of IA; three sisters: Vicki Drummond (Bernie) of St. Charles, IA, Joan Workman (Mike) of UT, and Diana Strable (Patrick) of Norwalk, IA; brother, Terry White (Brenda) of Dixon, KY; and four grandchildren: Max Myers, Alex Myers, Brooklyn White, and James White V.
