
Jason Scott Reynolds, 47, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 6th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his grandchildren’s education fund, in care of his son, Chris Reynolds.
Jason was born February 28, 1971, in Lexington, Missouri, the son of James Douglas and Barbara Ann (Luebbert) Reynolds. He graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1989. He enjoyed playing golf, pool, darts, baseball, and softball. Jason was skilled in many trades. He was a finish carpenter, installed siding, enjoyed woodworking, and fabricating race car parts and working on cars. Jason was an avid sports fan of the Chiefs, Royals, and NASCAR. Most of all, he adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, James Reynolds in 1983.
His survivors include his son, Christopher Reynolds (Whitney) of Odessa, MO; three grandchildren: Clayton, Emmerleigh, and Annistyn; his mother, Barbara Royer (Pete) of Oak Grove; two sisters: Sherri Garrison of Independence, and Holly McCullough (Kevin) of Oak Grove; two brothers: Ben Royer (Yuhong) of Montclair, VA, and Eric Royer (Spring) of Independence; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
