Jeanette L. Alderton, 75, of Buckner, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 5th, 2021.Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 10th followed by Funeral services at 2:00PM at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Mo.
Jeanette was born on January 21st, 1946 in Independence, MO, the daughter of Edward and Arlene (Craig) Brown. Jeanette was a devoted Christian who dedicated her life to the service of those around her. Equal parts nurse, caregiver, advocate and friend, there’s nothing Jeanette wouldn’t do to help out friends and family in need. Even as money grew tight, she donated to numerous charities up until the very end. Jeanette loved to garden and watch things grow, always aspiring to add beauty to the world around her.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Harvey.
Her survivors include her son Shane Alderton, of Seattle, WA; daughter, Melissa “cookie” Alderton of Buckner, MO; and brother Edward Brown II of Independence, MO
