Jeffery J. Dodd, 53, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014. Services will be held Thursday, September 25th at New Salem Funeral Home, 1823 N Blue Bills Road, Independence, MO, 64058. Visitation is from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. with Memorial Service following at 3:00 p.m.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Junior Dodd. He is survived by parents, Rita & Ronnie Burton; wife, Rita M. Dodd; daughter, Tamara M. Dodd; and granddaughter, Havyn. He is also survived by his children: Melissa & Rick Weedman, Christina Hughes and Danielle Hughes; grandchildren: Hailey, Tyler, Morgan, Christianie, Adonis, Dominik and Jared; as well as his siblings: Debbie & Donnie Moffet, Chris & Ellen Dodd, Bonnie & Chuck Smith, and Randy & Christy Dodd; and many nieces & nephews.
