John Edward Fultz, 69, of Blue Springs, Missouri, died June 30, 2011 at his home.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO, with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 p.m.

John was born June 3, 1942, in Jackson County, Missouri. John was a dedicated employee until his retirement from Galamat in 2008. He had a great love for fishing, enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and gathering regularly with his many siblings. John was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a great friend to many, and was loved by all.

His survivors include one son; Billy Fultz of Asheville, North Carolina, Two daughters; Christy Harkins of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Katy Joy of Independence, Missouri, Five grandchildren; Amanda, Mark and Anthony of Independence, Elizabeth and Joshua of Blue Springs, Four brothers; Billy Fultz of Kearney, Ronnie Fultz of Kansas City, Claude Fultz of Lee’s Summit, and Larry Fultz of Lansing, Kansas, Three sisters; Barbara Frank, Charlene Gillette and Karen Fultz of Independence, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents Orville M. Fultz and Sarah L. Fultz, and his brother Orville Fultz, Jr.
