Johnny Anderson of Lee’s Summit, passed away on April 9th, 2026 at the age of 70.
He was married to Wanda Anderson, who passed before him. He worked for many years at the University of Central Missouri before retiring. He kept life simple and enjoyed doing things his own way. He loved his old truck, watching football and going fishing.
He is survived by Shawn Anderson, Mindy Templeton and Cody Anderson. He will be missed.

11 Apr 2026Johnny, we had been friends for just about a year. I enjoyed your sense of humor and sharing memes off Snoopy each day. I wish I knew what happened to you. I knew when I hadn’t heard from you for a couple of days that there must be something going on. I was truly hoping you were just out enjoying the weather. The sadness I feel is deep.
