Jon Kevin Clarke, 59, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25th at the Blue Springs Christian Church of Blue Springs. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Jon was born on July 30, 1959 in Kansas City, MO, son of James and Patricia Clarke and has been a lifelong resident. He had worked for Missouri Public Service and KCP&L, holding various positions, from 1979 until his retirement in 2018. He enjoyed his family, working with his aquarium and fish, working in his yard, and Royals baseball games with friends. He was a member of Blue Springs Christian Church.
He is survived by his father, James Clarke of Pleasant Hill, MO; one sister, Jana (Mike) Kendle of Lee’s Summit, MO; three brothers, Steve (Eva) Clarke of Blue Springs, MO, Brett (Tammy) Clarke of Independence, MO, and Chad Clarke of Pleasant Hill, MO; one stepson, Rob Myers of Independence, MO; three grandchildren, Kayle, Levi, and Logan Myers of Dawn, MO; his beloved little dog, Callie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Loved by all, forgotten by none.
