Karen L. DeVera


Karen Lynn DeVera, 68, of Sibley, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016.  Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9th at Atherton Restoration Church, Atherton, MO.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Karen was born February 21, 1948 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the daughter of David and Frances Anna (Park) Ryhal.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  Karen loved all animals, especially her dogs.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ellen Murray.

Her survivors include her husband, Stephen E. DeVera of the home; two daughters: Shelly (Jeff) Morrison of Sibley & Patricia (Jared) Hoover of Lee’s Summit, MO; six grandchildren: Dylan DeVera, Sarah DeVera, Taylor Morrison, Daniel Morrison, Haley Morrison, & Hanna Morrison; one great-grandchild, Cooper DeVera; one brother, Stephen (Stacy) DeVera Jr. of Independence, MO; and four sisters: Linda Ryhal, Donna Rodgers, Sue Maurice, & Sue Ann.
