Kathryn Lee (Wickhorst) Thomson, 75, of Odessa, Missouri, left this earth on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice in her memory.
Kathy was born July 26, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Paul and Florence (Moore) Wickhorst. She was a 1961 graduate of Blue Springs High School. Kathy married Jack Thomson on August 11, 1961. She was employed in banking most of her adult life. Kathy lived the life she loved. She loved horses and the country. Kathy will be remembered as one of the spunkiest women ever. She made people laugh and smile just by walking in a room and she never knew a stranger.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Jack Thomson; two daughters, Sandra Eller (Steve) and Kim Cox; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
