  1. Our thoughts and prayers with Nellie and the family. He will be missed by many he has been like a brother to me for 60 plus years. Sorry he didn’t make it to his 90th. We know he is out of pain now. – Dixie Wheaton

  2. Aunt Nellie and family, my thought and prayers are with you. I will miss the many stories he would share, wanting to keep the family memories alive. I will treasure those times. – Chris Wheaton

  3. I have many pleasant memories of KAY. I can remember going to a doubleheader baseball game while Dianna and I was in school. He took the time to take an extra person and we had a wonderful time and stopping in to show the Halloween costume of the year to KAY and Nelli. since then I’ve seen him on and off over the years and he always had a big hug for me. Please remember that he is loved by many. I don’t know how many times I heard about Australia—he really enjoyed those trips. The last time I saw him at the nursing home at St. Mary’s he asked me if I was ever going to Australia. Well KAY you should be able to see Ayers Rock from your vantage point now. Love to all the family – Sharon Brown
