
Kerry Francis Jackman, 57, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father on June 4, 2018 at his home due to lung and bone cancer. Kerry was born on February 1, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Pat F. and Betty J. (Glover) Jackman. On January 26, 1985, Kerry was united in marriage to Iva M. Cooper. He worked for Tharaldson Property Management until he retired. Kerry enjoyed Sprint Car Racing, four-wheeling, and fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
Kerry is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Iva Jackman. Kerry and Iva were blessed with three children: Michael (fiancée Angela), Ron (wife Heather) and Mark; six grandchildren: Patton McCarthy-Jackman, Landon, Sadie, Kenzi, Kali and Maci; his four-legged grand-dogs: Rocko, Angel, Bear and Gunner; one great-grandchild miracle; siblings, Cathy Vogel and Joe Jackman; 38 nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends; and his four-legged companion “Oscar”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Jackman; and his Nana, Catherine Hornsby.
