L. Helen Shore, 98, joined her heavenly father on December 25, 2010. She resided at Carmel Hills Healthcare in Independence, MO. Her survivors are a daughter, Louise Shore of Lee’s Summit, MO; two sons, Richard and Sue Shore of Lee’s Summit, MO; Ralph and Shirley Shore of Holden, MO. There are five grandchildren; Craig and Colleen Shore of Holden, MO, Lara and Sam Dierker of St. Louis, MO, Mark and Amanda Shore, Shawnee, KS, Chris and Daryl miller of Platte City, MO, and Clint and Michelle Williamson of Lee’s Summit, MO. Seven great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters also survive. One great-granddaughter preceded her in death, Natalie Grace Williamson.
Her husband, Robert M. Shore and her parents, Robert Stone Brown and Hattie Bennett Brown; four sisters, Pearl Bynum, Frances Brown, Lorena Brown, and Roberta Corlew; one brother, Kenneth Brown preceded her in death.
Helen was born September 23, 1912 in Jackson County, Mo to Robert Stone Brown and Hattie Bennett Brown. She was the middle daughter.
