Larry Dale Parker, 46, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 1st at the funeral home; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery, Raytown, MO.
Larry was born November 15, 1968, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Gayle Dean and Florence Abbie (Patton) Parker. He graduated from Grain Valley High School in 1987. Larry worked for PBI Gordon and Saia. He was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed the KC Chiefs & MU football. Larry loved animals, music, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother, and one brother, Joe Hall.
His survivors include his wife, Mimi Parker of the home; two stepchildren, Garrett & Jade; his father & stepmother, Gayle & Doris Parker of Turney, MO; brother, Gary Parker (Peggy) of Topeka, KS; three sisters: Sondra Barber of Marshall, MO, Linda Patterson (Robert) of Blue Springs, MO, and Margie Mengel (Beatty) of Turney, MO; his in-laws: Connie & Jerry Dinoni of Lee’s Summit, MO and Mike & Mary Ellen Krasovec of Lake Tapawingo, MO; and a host of other family members and friends that were very close to him.
