Leroy Downing, age 70, of Lone Jack, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2016. Services will be held March 16th at River of Life Church, Kingsville, MO, with visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by the memorial at 12:00 p.m.
Leroy was born September 22, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Richard and Ella Mae (Jackson) Mobley. He was employed by Deutsch-Allis Chalmers, where he retired after 27 years of service. Leroy attended River of Life Church in Kingsville. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Leroy is survived by his wife of 8 years, Louise Seimears; two sons: Earl (Anita) Downing and Lewis (Jackie) Downing; and four grandchildren: Olivia Downing, Sophia Downing, Phillip Downing, and Elijah Downing. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife of 40 years, Patricia Downing.
