LeRoy E. Grubb


LeRoy Earl Grubb, 79, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1st at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri.  Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to KC Hospice-1500 Meadow Lake Pkwy Ste 200, KCMO 64114.

LeRoy was born February 26, 1942 in Independence, Missouri to Harold W. and Vera E. (Story) Grubb. He was employed at the Claycomo Ford Plant for 40 years. LeRoy was a member of the D-Dudes and the Coupes. He loved cars and took pride in refurbishing antique cars. He was a fixer-upper. LeRoy especially loved playing with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

LeRoy is survived by his wife Judy Grubb of the home; son, Brian Grubb; daughter, Kristine Mayer (Scott) of Lee’s Summit MO; 3 brothers: Robert Grubb of Blairstown, Raymond Grubb of Oak Grove, MO, and Ronald Grubb, Oak Grove, MO; 3 grandchildren: Jamie Steen (Erik), Kasey Mayer (Dani) and Emma Mayer; 5 great-grandchildren: Aidan Steen, Ethan Steen, Greyson Steen, Lincoln Mayer and Landon Mayer.
