Linda Marie Davis, 71, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017, due to health issues. Per her wishes, no formal service is planned and her ashes will be sprinkled in a wooded area. Should you wish to honor Linda, donations may be made to Wayside Waifs or any animal shelter of your choice.
Linda was born November 7, 1945, in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of Lynn and Julia Davis. Her professional career as a graphic artist was spent with “The Packer” magazine and the “American Academy of Physicians” magazine as a paste-up artist. Linda attained her bachelor’s degree at UMKC with majors in Psychology and Speech Therapy.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; friend, M.S. Dilley; and her beloved dog, Joey JoJo. She is survived by her brother, James Davis of Florida, and cousins of Independence, MO.
