Lisa was born on March 3rd, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri to Quinton and Minnie Lamport. Lisa was one of six children, and the only girl to five brothers whom she loved dearly. She graduated from Raytown South High School and enjoyed an accomplished career with FEMA before becoming a stay at home mother to her two children, Sarah and Matthew Owen.

Lisa especially loved spending time with her daughter and son. Lisa reiterated time and time again that Sarah and Matthew were her whole world and the light of her life. She always looked forward to hearing stories about Sarah and Matthew’s time in school and celebrating their achievements. Recently, Lisa especially enjoyed trying new restaurants, shopping and going to the casino with them. Her fierce loyalty and ardent love as a mother have left an eternal impact on Sarah and Matthew and will give them the strength to live on in this life without her.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Sarah Owen and son, Matthew Owen; brother, Mark Lamport (Ruth); brother Samuel Lamport (Janet); Steve Lamport (Diane); Christopher Lamport (Sherri) and many nieces and nephews whom she treasured. 1. She was a very smart, strong and beautiful woman. She had this aura of light and love, but also a very strong hint to not be messed with lol. It’s absolutely heart breaking to not be able to talk to her again but she lives on through us. Growing up I was blessed to have such a big, loving, and wonderful family. I would not be the same without all of the coaching and confidence she gave me. I love you aunt Lisa, please give uncle David and Nanny a great big hug for me!
