
Mae Elizabeth Lasley, 80, of Independence MO, passed away, June 9, 2016. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 at 12 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time at New Salem Funeral Home, 1823 N. Blue Mills Rd, Independence MO. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, or Zion’s Ridge Campground.
Mae was born October 31, 1935, the daughter of Ralph and Edna (Yocum) Ruckman Sr. She worked as a teachers aid. She was a member of the Waldo Avenue Restoration Branch Church of Jesus Christ. She loved to watch old movies, crochet, sing, and play the piano.
Mae was preceded in death by her; parents, husband Waldo, two sons, Mel and Brian Worth, and brothers, Ed, Gary, and Ralph Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Deana (Lonnie) Griffin of Independence, Helen (Bill) Brown of Raytown, six sons, Steve (Debra) Worth of Kingsville, Elzy (Patty) Lasley of Independence, Wesley (Janan) Lasley of Independence, Waldo (Tamara) Lasley Jr. of Odessa, Eric (Chris) Lasley of Vancouver, WA, and Harold (Kathy) Lasley, of Springfield, OR, two grandsons Austin Worth of Pleasant Hill, and Chase (Brooklyn) Worth of Raymore, One great-granddaughter, Elliana, Numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Two Sisters, Nancy Lappert of Independence, and Edna Ruckman of Independence, and One brother, Bruce (Jane) Ruckman of Adena, OH.
