Marguerite Miller


Rose Marguerite Miller, 95, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Stonecrest of Burlington Creek.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28th at Oak Grove Methodist Church, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the UMW in care of Oak Grove Methodist Church.

Marguerite was born October 31, 1921 in Oak Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Frank L. and Mary Katherine (Stillwell) Robinson.  She was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women and Circle.  Marguerite was an avid sports fan and enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines. 

Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd in 1982, and three brothers: Kenneth Robinson, Lawrence Robinson, and James Robinson.

Her survivors include nine nieces and nephews: Penny Williams (Randy) of Blue Springs, MO, Barbara House of Independence, MO, Frank Robinson (Linda) of Oak Grove, Sharon Gates (Dwight) of Nixa, MO, Jan Kimble of Belton, MO, Terri Miller of Kansas City, Debbie Stewart (Dave) of Overland Park, KS, Linda DiFolco (Tony) of Olathe, KS, and Jeff Miller (Betsey) of Overland Park; three cousins: Carolee Robinson of Oak Grove, Vickie Robinette (Ron) of Oak Grove, and Mike Robinson (Lisa) of Rogers, AR; and numerous other relatives and friends.
