Marjorie Louise Sarratt-Seppings, 59, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22nd at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Bates City Cemetery, Bates City, MO. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the family.
Marjorie was born December 20, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Warren and Fern (Bell) Sarratt. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1976. Marjorie owned and operated her own cleaning company. She was a member of Church of Christ in Independence, and loved God, her family & friends, cats & dogs, and Saturday family get-togethers.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her mother, Fern Sarratt; a brother, Leonard Sarratt; and a niece, Andrea Orsted.
Her survivors include her son, Jezreel Seppings of Independence; sister, Beth Orsted (Glenn) of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Lawrence Sarratt (Becky Walton) of Oak Grove; her father, Warren Sarratt of Bates City; four nieces; seven nephews; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
