Mary C. Garton, 76, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at St. John LaLande Parish, Blue Springs. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 14th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mary was born December 21, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Roy and Providence (County) Brinkoetter. She enjoyed quilting, sewing & reading, and loved to travel in the RV.
Her survivors include her husband of 57 years, Ellyn “George” Garton; three daughters: Deborah Myers, Diana & Chris Reynolds, Mary & David Reeder; two sons: William & Lori Garton, Brian Garton; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Rodgers; brother, Robert Brinkoetter; and numerous nieces & nephews.
