Mary Lee Martin, 86, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Villages of Jackson Creek in Independence, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4th at the funeral home.
Mary was born October 17, 1931, the daughter of Harvey L. and Rosa Mae (Coleman) Graham, and was raised in Oak Grove, Missouri. She married Frankie G. Martin on December 30, 1949. Mary was a sales clerk at Walmart, where she was known at Walmart’s Super Mom. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and crafting, and always got along with everyone.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Golda Jameson; and her brother, Harvey L. Graham Jr.
Her survivors include her son, Danny Martin (Susan) of Blue Springs; daughter, Barbara Lane of Richmond, KS; granddaughter, Anita Duffy Martin of Aloha, OR; and three step-grandchildren: Jason Applegate, Shauna Douglass, and Hailey Starrett.
