Mary (Sissie) Llewellyn Morris, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior June 23, 2026. She was born September 24, 1933 in Grain Valley, Missouri to Roy and Ruth Brown. Sissie was the 4th of seven children: Billy, Margie, Charlie, (Sissie), Doris Jean, Florene and Jimmy. All have predeceased her but two sisters, Margie and Doris Jean. She attended Grain Valley High School where she graduated in 1951 in a class of 10 students.
She married Milton Morris in 1951 and they were married for 32 years. They had 4 children: Merriel, Linda, Brenda and Danny.
Our mother, (Sissie) was a great cook, instilled hard work, and was a wonderful mother. But mostly, she was a wonderful woman of God. She loved the Lord and tried to show others the way to know him. We have been blessed by her encouragement, humor and prayers. And, her values and faith are with us and help us carry on.
She was very grateful for the family the Lord gave her. She leaves behind her 4 children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren (13 with spouses), and 32 great-grandchildren:

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, July 12th. Visitation is at 1pm with services at 2pm at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, MO.
