Michael “Mike” Dean Horner, 61, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 7th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. Contributions to Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Mike was born March 14, 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Lyle and LaVonne Horner. Mike worked in the field of telephony.
His survivors include his wife, Maureen Horner; children: Sean (Melissa) Horner, Jennifer (Matt) Brill, Cassie Catlett, Matt Catlett; grandchildren: Evan & Caleb Horner; mother: LaVonne “Skeets” Horner; brothers: David (Vera) Horner, James (Rose) Horner, Timothy Horner; sisters: Susan Kaiser, Linda (Mark) Hunt; Lisa (Don) Williams.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Lyle “Red” Horner.
