Michael Dale McCool, 60, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at KU Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12th at Eagle Creek Church, 1469 SW Market Street, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081.
Mike was born February 1, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Dale and Lillian McCool. He married Becky Hancock in 1992. Mike worked as a steel worker, an orthotic technician, and a heating and air conditioning technician. He enjoyed fishing and having fish frys for his family. His greatest accomplishment was his children. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love for his wife and children.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
Those who remain to mourn him include his sons, Eric and Jason of Kansas City, Missouri; his daughter, Alea of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; his sister, Carol Crawford and husband Doug of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; his nephews, Ed Simms of Independence, Missouri, David Sanders of Norman, Oklahoma, and cousin Kelli Carter of Tulsa, Oklahoma and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
