Michael Gene Stewart, 47, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Wednesday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.

Mike was born on September 17, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Floyd Gene and Linda Rae (Dickhout) Stewart. He was an electrician. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda R. Lea in 2005, and one brother, David A. Stewart in 1983.

His survivors include: his father & step-mother: Gene & Marilyn Stewart of Breckenridge, MO; one son: Chad Stewart; one daughter: Trisha Stewart of Lee’s Summit, MO; one brother: Wayne Stewart of Grain Valley, MO; one sister: Sharon Mountjoy of Blue Springs, MO; one step-sister: Wendy Wilson of Olathe, KS; one granddaughter: Meena Gehrke of Lee’s Summit, MO; several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
