Michael Lee Gillespie, 61, of Lone Jack, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012. Visitation will be held 6:00 –8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26th, at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO, with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 27that Santa Fe Catholic Church, Buckner, MO; burial in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville.

His survivors include his wife of 38 years, Ginger Gillespie of the home; four sons: Thomas Gillespie of Hawaii, Stephen Gillespie of New Mexico, Andrew Gillespie of Lone Jack, & Patrick Gillespie of Lone Jack; three daughters: Suzanne Gillespie of Cape Girardeau, MO, Deborah Heiser of Gardner, KS, & Mary Gillespie of Lone Jack; his mother: Mary Clara Gillespie of Independence, MO; and six grandchildren.
