Michael W. “Mick” Lewis 48, Independence, died Friday July 31, 2015, at his home.
Mr. Lewis was born on May 17th 1967 in Independence, MO, before moving to Carolina Beach, NC as a child. As an adult, Mr. Lewis began a successful business “RV Anywhere” in the Florida area before relocating the business back to Independence.
His survivors include his parents, Peggy Zack, Willington NC and Melvyn and Sandra Lewis, Independence MO; two children, Ashely Lewis and Briana “Lewis” Varron; His life partner-Vickie Hicks; two-step children, Jackie and Jessie Roland; brothers, Kenneth Mitchell and Scott Woods; sisters, Sherrie Woods and Sheila “Woods” Adams; and granddaughter-Layla Varron. He is preceded in death by his brother Richard “Rick” Lewis.
Service will be held 10am – 12pm, Saturday August 8, 2015 at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral services.
