Michelle LaRee Chronister, 47, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5th at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence; burial in New Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 4th at the funeral home.
Michelle was born May 19, 1968, in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Larry D. and Cheri L. (Earley) Mowrey. Before starting her family, she was a personal banker for Boatmen’s Bank in Independence for several years. Michelle loved singing and was known for her beautiful voice. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father. Her survivors include her husband, Paul Chronister of the home; one son, Dustin of the home; two daughters, Ashley & Ciera of Independence; two grandchildren: Brayden, Isabella, and one on the way; and her mother, Cheri Mowrey of Caldwell, ID.
