Nicholas S. McMillan


Nicholas Sean McMillan, 51, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at St. Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4th in Sni Mills Cemetery in Oak Grove.

Nicholas was born in Lexington, Missouri, on February 14, 1970, to Nicholas and Cheryl (Cline) McMillan.  Nick, “Nickie” was able to light up any room with his infectious smile and beautiful sparkling blue eyes.  He was definitely one of a kind, fiercely loyal, steadfastly dependable, and a spiritual man.  Nick believed in equality for all.  He was as unique as the stories he told.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin Arthur McMillan and LaVina Jean (Armbruster) McMillan.  He is survived by his mother, Cheryl (Cline) Clary; stepfather, David L. Clary; father, Nicholas Ray McMillan; sisters, Brea M. Clary, Kristin D. Clary, and Alex Karpf; uncle, Dennis Cline; and uncle and aunt Franklin Eugene and Adriana “Ria” McMillan.

  1. Nick was a dear friend of mine & I’m going to miss him dearly. So many good times from our teens and all through the years. He was even in my wedding. He had such a beautiful heart & I’m so sorry for your loss. Peace, love & healing for the entire family.

    Nick could make every person feel like they were the most important person in the world!
    We are honoring & remembering Nick & while it is tragic to think about Nick leaving us too soon he left behind a lifetime of memories.
    Nick was always ready for a fun day with friends & family!
