Noel Elverton “Richard” Deskins, 68, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. A visitation will be held from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4th at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, followed by Graveside services at 3:00 p.m. in New Salem Cemetery.
Noel was born November 29, 1946, in Madison, West Virginia, the son of Carlos O. and Alice S. (Mitchell) Deskins. He married Frances D. Snodgrass on April 27, 1974. Noel was a truck driver.
His survivors include his wife, Frances, of the home; daughters, June & Laura, & son, Ritchie Deskins, all of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Marsha Adamson of Independence; brother, Jim Deskins & sister, Jane Raines, both of Corbin, KY; and numerous grandchildren.
