Patricia Ann (Schwenck) Watson, 82, of Chanute, Kansas, formerly of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Diversicare of Chanute. Services will be held Tuesday, August 8th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, with visitation at 12:00 p.m. and memorial at 1:00 p.m. Graveside inurnment will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Patricia was born August 25, 1934, in Nevada, Missouri, the daughter of Conrad and Vesta (Evans) Schwenck. She was a machinist at Bendix/Allied Signal. Patricia was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. She enjoyed flowers, working in her rose garden, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Julia Grace (Bishop) Franklin. Her survivors include daughter, Vicki Davis & husband Fred of Chanute; 3 sons: James Gum & wife Virginia, David Gum, and Douglas Gum & wife Janice, all of Mayview, MO; sister, Nancy Herrenbruck & husband Charles of Pittsburg, KS; 9 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and cousin, Dick Foster of Coffeeville.
