Patricia Jean Lawrence, 68, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016. Services will be held Thursday, March 17th at New Salem Funeral Home, with visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral at 2:00 p.m.
Patricia was born August 25, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska, to Lee and Minnie (Menard) Conger. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in Sugar Creek, MO.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Steven Lawrence, and she missed him dearly after his death.
Survivors include 3 sons: Todd (Kelly) Vaughn of Belton, MO, Troy (Kelly) Vaughn of Independence, MO, and Donald Lawrence of Iowa; 1 daughter, Jennifer Lawrence of Iowa; 2 sisters: Beverly (Richard) Mayher of Omaha, NE, and Linda (Andy) Kinne of Grain Valley, MO; 1 brother, Richard (Sharon) Conger of Warsaw, MO; 7 grandchildren: Aimee, Eve, Kelsy, Josh, Taylor, & Colton Vaughn, and Chris Price; and 1 great-grandchild, Austynn Killian.
Patricia was a kind and sweet person that loved her family and will be missed by all that came to know her.
