Patricia “Patty” Anne Keightley, 73, of Buckner, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27th at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO; burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery, Buckner. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Patty was born February 15, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Bernard C. and Wilma (Petty) Haley. She married Gerald W. Keightley on March 12, 1965. Patty was an active member of Victory Mountain Church in Buckner all her life. She loved teaching at the Victory Mountain Christian School. Family and Jesus are what she lived for.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tim Donaldson.
Her survivors include her husband of 55 years, Gerald of the home; two daughters: Gail Anderson (Howard) of Buckner, MO, and Laurie Howerton of Kearney, MO; two grandchildren: Amie Howerton (Travis) and Ryan Howerton (Nicole), both of Kearney; four great-grandchildren; and five siblings: Carla Weaver (Russ) of Independence, Mike Haley (Connie) of Versailles, MO, J.D. Donaldson, Gregory Donaldson, and Twyla Donaldson.
