Paul Jerry Cook, 76, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019. A celebration of life will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Paul was born on March 23, 1943 in Urbana, MO, son of Paul and Bethel (Darby) Cook. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, tinkering outdoors and flying kites. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Judy Wisemore.
He married Lois Wisemore in 1963 and later married Karen Kirst in 1979. Other survivors include his sons, Michael Cook (Kelly) of Lee’s Summit, MO and Gene Cook (Nanci) of Pleasant Hill, MO; step-daughter, Theresa Randall (Toby) of Lee’s Summit; step-son, David Kirst of Kansas City, MO; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 siblings.
