Peggy Henson went to be with Jesus on March 8, 2014.  She passed peacefully with her husband of 66 years at her side, in her home in Blue Springs, MO.

Peggy was born in Joppa, Illinois on December 16, 1927, and spent the past 50 years in Independence and Blue Springs with her husband.  They were Graceland College sweethearts and he cared for her tenderly throughout her illness.  She was class valedictorian in Villa Grove, Illinois High School.  Peggy was a gentle, thoughtful, generous, and kind lady whose primary concerns were always her husband, children, family and home.

Peggy leaves her husband, Glen; her children, Greg Henson, Brad Henson, Scott Henson, and Debbie Benner; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandsons.

A private family celebration of her life will take place in April.  Memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 4911 S. Arrowhead, Suite 120, Independence, MO 64055.
